8/18/2018 0 Comments TAPSMe and my wife revisited some of our saddest memories, yet were overcome by the immensity of the current blessings of the experiences we have been allowed to see, touch, smell, sense, hear, know, and feel.
Our little trip for a few days brought us some real perspective on how good things are and how much we take the daily life comforts for granted. We learned a lot from our camping, most of it because of our leaps of faith in the little moments as they each opened up their possibilities to us. We miss our loved ones that have passed and the memories alone are enough to shake us up. We have realized that things have many sides to them to see, and to realize our worth is important so that we can hold onto that worth and value and selfless integrity love that makes life so precious in the first place, by seeing that positive gift in the breaths we take. It's a hard choice. It's an easy choice. It's a choice we always have to make. 8/8/2018 0 Comments To Dreamers, Keep Dreams AliveNever say never,
Never say can't, Never say impossible, Never limit yourself. If you dream of doing something and want it with all your open heart (open and knowing that it is something worth doing), God may will it to happen, it is possible to happen, and it may already be planned that it will happen. By wanting something badly enough you can overcome all expectations and limits set by others views or the very definitions of your own disabilities, limits, faults, habits, and change your very destiny to be any gift that you truly are willing to work hard enough to do, if God and His opportunities are taken at the right moments. That is how I became the happiest person that I could imagine, from someone who had hit rock bottom at several points in my self esteem and in my impressions of what the world was like around me and in my own definitions of my own self. I changed, and it was because I sought that change with an open heart that had faith that it could change, faith in something that could change anything: God the creator, who was and is benevolent because His plan is great in scale as well as great in worth, a mysterious plan that gives us something to work against and for, a plan that gives us purpose. That purpose gives value to everything, and that limit to life gives us worth in every moment we have. Embrace every normal minute, there is value in that more than we value because we take it for granted. Embrace every struggle, for it gives us strength. Embrace that flaw in yourself, for it gives us motivation to change and learn from it. Embrace the flaws in others, they give us something to be needed by them. Embrace our dependence on God, it gives us the appreciation for His blessings. Live with passion! Live with Faith!
8/2/2018 0 Comments Timeless MinimalismIt's an often overlooked but basic truth that when we have less we value what we have more.
If you were to live in a perfect world then, one would, if one were to recognize how amazingly true this is, value what is basic, concise, and live more fully by not filling our lives with distractive possessions, media, information, and activities that mean little to us. Minimalism is an essential part to happiness, and Jesus opens us up to it in asking him to give everything to the poor or needy and follow Him. Are you brave enough to find happiness? |
