4/29/2020 0 Comments Quarantine R.E.S.E.T.Quarantine seems to take all our energy and drains it with our fears and discontent. There is a solution though. We need to reset ourselves into our environment, adapt, and move on.
R.E.S.E.T. Rest Energize Safety Empathize Transition into our Tactile home We start by resting up and letting our batteries recharge. If nothing else, then worry will eat away at our mental state and drain it, until we can start by putting our subconscious dream state to work on the factors involved. Those issues will be processed by the brain and be more clear when you wake or when you complete meditation. Energize by doing some physical action, away from as much digital environment one can. If you can listen to your favorite songs on audio only and dance to them that's great! Or do some simple action moves with your legs and arms in a small area of your room in front of a mirror to get your breath going and heart pumping. Exercise is a natural stress reliever. It produces the chemicals the brain needs to feel positive and like you can do more. It starts small then works up, don't stop entirely keep working your way up in actions until you have an active healthy daily routine. Set aside time in the day, schedule it with an alarm. Be consistent. Change your habits for the best. Stay Safe by isolating when outside or in other places there are people. Some closeness might be beneficial with your family if you live together and cannot isolate, but when involving contact or proximity to others that are exposed to a larger number of people or environments be caution and use masks and gloves and stay six feet apart, rinsing hands or using sanitizer before and after contacts and cleaning surfaces. Empathize by making the time you do use electronic devices with actual personal connection with those that you want to stay in touch with and need, whether you are aware of it or not, for to be assured of their well being and to communicate your own thoughts constructively or emotionally. Know that others are going through things in their own way and may be sensitive too. Know that we all want to be loved and have a natural desire to do good, deep down, when our environment allows it. Transition into a Tactile lifestyle in your home and surrounding environments by walking outside if you can, doing things that are physical and involve your senses so that you analyze them. Disconnect often from the TV, phone, and internet, such that you can think about your own thoughts the way you would when traveling out and about prior to the quarantine. Know that you are loved by the God you believe in, and that there are people that care about people like you and who would want to help if you reach out. Trust in a big plan and transition, move on, into this new life so that we can use every moment to enjoy the best we can. #ToDreamers
